The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course, offered through TQUK, is a comprehensive training program specifically designed for individuals who are responsible for children’s care and safety.
Online Theory: 6 hours of in-depth online learning, accessible remotely and designed to be flexible to fit around the learner’s schedule. This segment covers the theoretical foundations of paediatric first aid.
Practical Training: A full day of practical training conducted at our training centre in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This session focuses on applying the learned concepts in real-life scenarios, emphasising hands-on practice.

The course is regularly updated to reflect the latest guidelines and practices in first aid.

To ensure you’re fully prepared to become a qualified paediatric first aider, our course includes assessments in both the online and practical components:
Online Assessments: Quizzes and interactive activities integrated into the online theory component to test your understanding of key first aid principles.
Practical Assessment:
During the one-day session at our training centre, you’ll demonstrate your first aid skills in a series of practical assessments, guided by our expert instructors.
Written Assessment:
As part of your practical assessment day, you’ll complete written assessment part of your qualification which will be based on a combination of the theory and practical activities you’ve completed.
Upon successful completion of both the online and practical assessments, you’ll receive a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid qualification, recognised across the UK as a benchmark of first aid competence.
On successful completion of this course you will be awarded the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF). This is an OFQUAL regulated qualification awarded through TQUK. The qualification is valid for 3 years.
